The shehecheyanu prayer. The initial word panel 'and they drink' frames a family at the Seder table. A man leaning to the left sits at the head of the table while others choose to recline to the right. Below the panel, a dog chews a bone and a dog and hare chase each other through the margins. At the bottom of the page, a man washes his hands while someone pours the water and gives him a cloth. The text at the foot of the page reads 'and they wash their hands and bless'.

Shehecheyanu prayer 'And if it falls on Shabbat evening say ... wine, Kiddush ...' Magnificent double-sided page. Colourful margins featuring playful scenes surround the panel inscribed with 'Blessed'. Two archers point their arrows towards a man who is balancing precipitously and looks as if he might jump while dogs, peacocks, rabbits and zoomorphic figures with golden chalices add to the festive atmosphere.The verso is equally decorative with gold word panels and abundant playful decorative figures in the margins. A man with a golden chalice makes havdalah with a small boy at the foot of the page.

Verso, the last page in this section of the Sefer Mikhlol, shows two dragons their ears, wings and teeth showing and their long tails entangled in a Hercules' knot so that they cannot be separated. A goose stands on one side and a swan on the other, flapping their wings. The arcades and framing bars are in gold.

The scribe, Moshe Ibn Zabara's colophon is decorated with a large illuminated panel in silver, red, blue, green and turquoise floral designs and geometrical patterns. The text gives the background to the manuscript stating that he, Moshe Ibn Zabara completed the bible in 1476 for Isaac, son of Don Solomon di Braga in La Coruña (Spain). Verso, the end of RaDaK's Sefer Mikhlol is written within a beautifully decorated arcade using both gold and silver leaf and showing the artist's great skill.

RaDaK's Sefer Mikhlol is elegantly decorated with intricate geometrical full page designs dotted with gold, multicoloured inks and gargoyle heads embellishing the red and black text. Verso, the artist Joseph painted a dense though delicate multicoloured foliage scroll, interspersed with flowers, a contemporary naturalistic style which contrasts with the archaistic geometrical inter¬lace above the arcades and the red filigree frame. The red and purple arcades have dragon's head bases and capitals

RaDaK's Sefer Mikhlol very colourful example of the artist's great skill featuring intricate geometrical designs with gold as well as exquisite, colourful floral decoration. Verso, is the most historiated of all the arcaded pages and depicts various fables wherein an army of long-eared rabbits besieges a lone wolf in his castle, which has three turrets from which red banners are flying. In the van and the rear of the army, surrounded by lances, are rabbits carrying crowns and sceptres.

RaDaK's Sefer Mikhlol continues with an exceptionally decorated leaf wherein an army of cats attacks the dogs' castle. Lances with red pennants can be seen above the battlements, while the crowned leading cat and that bringing up the rear hold red and blue shields and brandish swords. The frames round both pages are decorated with a foliage scroll with large gold and blue leaves. Multicoloured winged dragons serve as capitals for the outer columns of the gold arcades and a large maned lion's head for the central ones. The columns rest on dragon's heads. Verso, an elegant blue and gold design framed by red penwork surround the text with two blue dragons guarding the columns.
